As part of the new Scottish GP contract with Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board the phlebotomy service is being moved from GP surgeries to central locations.
Our preferred location will be The Community Centre for Health, 547 Dumbarton Road, Partick, Glasgow or Plean street Clinic.
We will be starting to direct patients to this service. To book a blood appointment at this location you will be advised by your GP, Nurse or by letter to telephone 0141 355 1525, they will take your name and CHI number and arrange your appointment at a suitable time. Appointments will be available Monday – Friday 8:45am – 4:15pm.
If attending The Community Centre for Health is too difficult you will still be able to make your phlebotomy appointment at the surgery with the HCA in the mornings.
Please see below all the centres where there are rooms dedicated for Phlebotomy. Patients can self refer using Single point of Access on 0141 355 1525
There is now an additional option of following the link to complete a form and the phlebotomy team will contact you to arrange the appointment. (Please only use this link if you have spoken to a clinician and they have advised that bloods are required).
